In this interactive workshop, multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creativity coach Tasha Schumann will share practical strategies for navigating the intersection of art and entrepreneurship.

Whether you’re an artist looking to start a business, or an arts organization looking to apply an entrepreneurial lens to the work you do, this workshop will give you the tools to build a business model that supports your creativity and vision.

Tasha Schumann is a Juno-nominated recording artist, producer, and media personality whose work bridges music, media, and the contemplative arts. Her music has been featured in major productions like HBO’s Insecure, Comedy Central’s Broad City, and VH1’s Love & Hip Hop, with profiles in Billboard, New York Magazine, Afropunk, and FADER. A trailblazer in the industry, she was the first woman to win the MuchMusic Video Award for Best Rap Video, and her genre-bending visuals have been recognized at film and music festivals around the world.

Beyond music, Tasha is a thought leader in creative transformation, exploring the intersection of creativity and contemplative practice through her platform Bodhisavage. She co-hosts The Mind Bod Adventure Pod with NYT bestselling author Jeff Warren and mentors emerging artists through programs like Women in Music Canada and Artscape. A regular juror for the Toronto Arts Council, Canada Council for the Arts, FACTOR, and the Juno Awards, she helps artists and entrepreneurs navigate the space between artistic freedom and entrepreneurship, building sustainable, visionary careers.

This summer, she’s launching a groundbreaking accelerator for artists and creatives, designed to help them break through creative blocks, dissolve limitations, and build a thriving, sustainable practice rooted in creative flow.
