Community Connects offers programming by Brampton Creatives, for Brampton Creatives. The series aims to strengthen the diverse multi-disciplinary Brampton creative community by fostering communal learning and knowledge sharing while developing individual members’ facilitation skills. With this initiative, BAO helps Brampton artists and creatives develop and run programming specifically for our community.

Beyond The Mic is a two-part workshop series designed for performance-based artists in the Brampton area looking to refine their stage presence, vocal performance, branding, and marketing. Over two 3-hour sessions, artists will develop essential skills to elevate their artistry and career.

Day one focuses on storytelling, stage presence, movement, and vocal techniques. Through hands-on exercises, performances, and feedback, artists learn to engage audiences and command the stage.

Day two helps artists craft a strong brand, identify their ideal audience, and prepare for live performances with confidence. Participants will leave with a clear artistic direction, practical strategies, and stronger performance skills.
