Brampton Arts Organisation (BAO) in collaboration with Fall for Dance North (FFDN) is gathering Brampton’s dancers and movement artists together for an evening of community, discussion and performances.

Fall for Dance North, taking place October 15–25, is Toronto’s premier professional international dance festival, dedicated to breaking boundaries and removing financial or physical barriers to the art form.

Start the evening networking over snacks, then take in a panel discussion moderated by Brampton artist Baffour Kwasi Obeng-Adjei, co-curator and one of the featured choreographers and performers in Fall for Dance North’s Heartbeats: Signature Programme 2.

Panellists Angelika Manuela, Shivani Joshi, and Ankita Alemona will discuss the realities of building a career in dance, the different pathways an artistic practice can take, and what it means to develop and sustain a creative life. Following the panel, there will be a Q&A period during which you can share your experiences and observations.

Come for the discussion, stay for the surprise dance performances and build your community of practice.
