Brampton Artists Invited to Apply to the New BAO Professional Development Fund - BAO

Apply today to take charge of your creative career!

BRAMPTON, ON (September 9, 2025) — The Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) has launched a new professional development program that is as unique as each artist’s career path. All emerging, mid-career, and established Brampton-based professional artists and arts administrators are urged to apply.

This program provides up to $400.00 in funding to help offset eligible expenses associated with professional development activities. Such activities might be participating in an exhibition or showcase, undertaking specialized training, performing research, attending conferences, obtaining membership in a professional association, and more.

Through research and consultation with local artists, BAO has found that the professional development needs of the Brampton creative community are as diverse and unique as each individual artist’s career path. No single solution can aid everyone, so this program is specifically designed to meet the width and breadth of development opportunities available to all creative disciplines practicing within the City of Brampton.

Application Process

All applications must be submitted online through BAO’s website. Applications will be reviewed monthly, and funding will be given out until the fund runs out or before November 30, 2025.
