The presentation’s topic is the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC)’s latest report, ‘Ontario’s Arts, Culture, and Creative Industries: Strengthening Competitiveness and Communities,’ which was recently released. It highlights the sector’s significant socioeconomic impact and challenges and offers recommendations to support its long-term growth across the province.

Keynote Presenter

Neeky Dalir is a Policy Analyst at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, focusing on advancing inclusive growth across Ontario’s economy—particularly in arts and culture, health, and emerging technologies.

Neeky has a BA in Theatre and a Minor in Political Science from York University, and a MA in Public Policy and Administration with a specialization in Global Policy at Northwestern University.

When Neeky is not working on policy and advocacy, she is a full-time actress in the industry and works as a film programmer at the Diaspora Film Festival in Toronto.
