Brampton Arts Organization (BAO)’s Newcomer Creative Exchange program is for newcomer artists, creatives, or cultural workers looking to continue their arts and culture careers in Canada. The program creates a space for these Brampton-based newcomers to gather, network, create, and learn together in a welcoming and supportive environment.

For our fifth Newcomer Creative Exchange session, we will be taking a tour of Chinguacousy Park and its Greenhouse & Tropical Gardens. While there, we’ll document our experiences through photography with Brampton-based photographer, Herman Custodio.

Chinguacousy Park is Brampton’s largest public park. It offers a variety of amenities including picnic areas, tennis courts, playgrounds, and seasonal attractions like the ski hill and petting zoo.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own camera, phone or tablet to use during the workshop.

This session and all Newcomer Creative Exchange sessions are free for Brampton residents.
