Pervolo

Inspired by a chance sighting at a red light near the airport, the logo on a transport truck and the company name sparked a memory of a certain aircraft that happened to be built in the vicinity. The logo and the aircraft history led me to creating a pattern that has a wing like quality to it. The pattern repeats itself in my work, crossing over, running into, flying over, weaving under.  It forms a map like image with the coloured areas suggesting the parts and places we live in under and between the lines of transportation.
