Joy Rogers is the owner and artist behind Karáhkwa Jewelry. She is a member of Six Nations of the Grand River, Seneca Nation, with Haudenosaunee and Chippewa ancestry on her maternal side.
She is inspired by teachings, being on the land and her love for Mother Earth and all her relations. Her beadwork blends traditional and contemporary Indigenous styles as a means of storytelling and honoring her heritage. Joy’s beadwork is made with great attention to detail and precision in the placement of each bead. Made with love and intention, each piece is created for anyone to wear proudly.
