David J. Phillips is a former Stratford Festival actor and YTV host who is now an award-winning film and TV producer with over 30 features to his name, as well as TV movies and series. His work has premiered at top festivals like Sundance and been distributed on platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, and AMC Theatres. Notable recent credits include Eat Wheaties! with Tony Hale, Entertainment with John C. Reilly and Michael Cera, Savage Salvation with Robert De Niro, and the Hallmark hit series The Love Club. Through his company Phillm Productions, David has produced acclaimed films like The Maestro and Badsville. He is a member of the PGA, DGC, SAG, ACTRA and Television Academy, and proudly serves as an Official Arts Ambassador for Brampton, Ontario.

I’m willing to chat with young actors or filmmakers about helping their careers and projects stand out. Whether it’s telling them insights into the film industry from development to distribution, exploring international markets and moving to the USA, or watching a rough cut of their short film and giving feedback, I’m here to help.
