Calling all Brampton adult and youth artists, creatives, makers, craftspeople, collectives, and arts & culture organizations.

BRAMPTON, ON (January 17, 2025) – The Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) is gearing up to host its fifth Brampton Summer Artist Market this July and is seeking up to thirty local artists, craftspeople, creatives, and arts & culture organizations to apply for a spot to sell and share their work.

Held twice a year, BAO’s Artist Markets provide a unique, free opportunity for creative professionals in Brampton to showcase and sell their work, grow their audiences, and connect with other local creatives. The markets attract over 1,000 attendees and feature live music and community programming.

Back for its second year is the Youth Annex Market, where local creatives under the age of eighteen can exhibit and sell their work at a professional artist market.

Purchasing from local artists contributes to the growth and success of Brampton’s creative community. Shopping locally is an investment that helps strengthen the city’s economy and empowers entrepreneurs who work tirelessly to create art and products everyone can enjoy.

As a city known for its diverse culture and vibrant community, this event welcomes vendors of all ages and across all disciplines, themes, and interests. Arts and culture organizations are also welcome to apply to showcase their services and offerings at this event.

I am so thrilled for the return of the Brampton Arts Organization’s annual summer artist market – a special event that showcases the incredible talent within our local community. With over thirty creative vendors, live music, and a youth zone – the market is not only a celebration of creativity but also a wonderful opportunity to shop local and purchase one-of-a-kind works. This is a great opportunity for local creative entrepreneurs to grow their business and their audience.

We cannot wait to bring the Summer Artist Market back to the Rose Brampton this July 19th. This special market highlights the significant economic impact of Brampton’s artistic community and offers us a chance to gather and celebrate local talent.
