Erikson Mejia is a transgender, Honduran artist who has lived in Brampton for the last nine years. She graduated from George Brown College in the Art and Design program.
I frequently utilize myself as the subject of my paintings, drawing inspiration from both my Indigenous and transsexual identities. As an artist, I find beauty in the masculine features of transgender women and the culture and heritage of Indigenous peoples.
